A proud Auburn, Alabama native, Charlton earned her degree from Auburn University’s renowned Hospitality, Event Management program in December of 2020, combining her love for creating memorable experiences with meeting new people. Charlton is also a certified Specialist in Wine. You can find her enjoying a well-aged Italian red wine or an earthy Oregon Pinot Noir when she’s relaxing.
When she’s not arms deep in events, you’ll find her exploring hiking trails, trying new cooking recipes, or gardening with her husband, Drew, and their two golden retrievers, Simba and Oakley.
Charlton’s professional journey has taken her from intimate vineyard weddings to global corporate programs. As an Event Planner with Young President's Organization, Charlton manages member satisfaction and logistics for events spanning the globe, mastering both in-person and virtual experiences for executive leaders. At the Inn at Carnall Hall, Charlton served as Sales and Event Manager, orchestrating everything from elegant weddings to corporate meetings and high-end dinners in one of Arkansas's most historic venues. Her role at J.B. Hunt challenged her to think big, developing and executing a comprehensive summer intern program for over 230 interns across multiple locations – from designing educational content to planning their National Intern Day celebration. Charlton has also had the privilege of working behind the scenes at C. Wayman Design, where she learned the art of floral logistics for luxury events, and spent time in Oregon's wine country as Assistant Venue Manager at Maysara Winery, coordinating weddings and corporate events while even working a harvest season to truly understand winemaking from grape to glass.
